Begin your journey heading south from Las Catalinas, following Route 911 toward Huacas. From there, take Route 21 heading east toward Liberia, where you’ll join Route 1 north for approximately 7 kilometers. Look for the turnoff to Curubandé — the gateway to the La Leona Waterfall hike and the famous blue waters of Río Blanco.
